Honda NSX Hydraulic Power Unit Oil Temperature Heater / Cooler Controller

  
Here is custom hydraulic power unit designed for precise oil temperature control. This was built by Honda and as shown was previously used on an NSX production line as shown from the HMI / documentation. The main pump is a Vickers 25V14A vane pump driven by a 3 HP motor.

It can heat oil using an electric immersion heater in its stainless oil tank or cool using a forced air heat exchanger underneath. Further specs and information can be found in the spec table above. The HMI is very easy to use and can be easily integrated to any other purpose or manufacturing process.

You can just type in a temperature setpoint and the system will either cool or heat by opening up valves to keep that setpoint. Alternatively, all controls / heating / cooling can be operated manually from the HMI.

It looks like this was intended to be a mobile temperature controller as well. The frame is 1 thick heavy duty steel on castors. The hydraulic connections are all 1 quick detach styles with automatic check valves and a drip pan underneath them as shown. This includes wiring diagrams for the control cabinet and good documentation for the components used. Ball Screws / Shaft Couplings.

Appears to be about 10 Gallons Conservatively. CS-06-B-50 (appears to be currently set around 200 PSI). Mitsubishi Q03UDECPU w/ Mitsubishi GT1665M HMI. Appears to be around 250 PSI (limited by heat exchanger).
